All about us...from humble beginnings

We are a Cornish, family run company who have been sourcing and supplying quality gifts and homewares for nearly 30 years.

When we started The Famous Little Store in Padstowe, 18 years ago, the concept was so simple; to gather together a huge variety of gifts and treats for people of all ages, with the only criteria being that they had to have the potential to make their prospective owner’s eyes light up.
 
Much of our range had ties with the local area so visitors could take away a bit of the magic they had experienced during their stay and share some of those wonderful memories with those they’d left at home.
 
The guiding principle behind all our products is that each had the potential to make someone’s day. Whether that’s because they’re useful, beautiful or simply loads of fun we pride ourselves on being able to provide something for everyone and frequently consult other members of our extensive Cornish clan for advice on what appeals to different generations.
 
So no matter if you’re shopping for nephews, nieces, grannies, granddads, mothers, daughters, fathers, sons cousin, aunts, uncles, in-laws, step-whatever’s or second cousin Sarah, you can rest assured that we’ve probably asked ours first!
